Greetings Friends!
It seems that every month there are exciting things happening here at SCFSU. This month, we have quite a few things to update you on.
We had a missions team from the States here with us for two weeks-the Synergy team. Check out the article that tells you who they are and what they came to do.
One of our Staff members, Faith Knight has gone to New York for 3 weeks. Read all about what she will be doing there. Faith also provided us with a run down on some of the important things that have been happening in the schools in her area over the past few months. To find out about that, read the 'What's been happening in Central Region 'article.
We also have a section this month on what's going on with some of our members.
We are also very excited about our NEW Web page.
Hope you are blessed!

Dinthill's Anniversary Celebrations
Dinthill Technical School's ISCF celebrated its 25th anniversary at a church service, Bethel Baptist Church, Bog Walk on Sunday May 20, 2001. I had the good fortune to be there, and thought it a great idea to celebrate such a milestone. There were about 30 people from the school community, including students and teachers in attendance. The students ministered in a variety of ways, including playing some of the instruments in the church band. It was good to see Bethel Baptist giving so much room to the ISCF to minister. An interesting feature was the presence of 3 former presidents who had opportunity to deliver charges.

Maggotty High - April 10th, 2001

The ISCF group on both shifts organized two End of term Services. ISCFers sang, danced and shared poetry. The highlight was the testimony shared by Mr. Gerald Brown, former prisoner. He traced his lifestyle through school showing how this contributed to a life of crime, culminating in the death of a police man and a prison sentence. He emphasised the resurrection power of Christ and shared how accepting Jesus as his saviour transformed his life, contrasting his life before and after Christ.
